What Motherhood is to me....

That apples are actually balls.

That when you hear about sleepless nights, its not always because the baby won't sleep. Sometimes it's because you can't tear yourself away from the crib. Just one more look. One more sweet baby smell. 


That sometimes there's no other place for boogers then your jeans. OMG Did I just admit that publicly?!


You search for paci's at 3 AM and then when you find the rogue paci you then have to go stumbling in the dark to find "more paci" because he needs one to suck on and one to rub on his face.

 You check poop for any weird colors, textures, or objects.


That eventually you can take a rectal temperature with your eyes closed. Aren't you glad I don't have pictures of that?


Having a best friend that always thinks your great....for the first 5 years at least.


That baby gear is the new Coach bag

And the Coach Bag is the new......well it's not new....you need baby gear.


That making a fool of yourself in the grocery store, church, or restaurant doesn't matter. Run around naked and slip on banana peels? Sure! If that's what it takes to keep that baby or toddler happy, calm, content, quiet, asleep, and clean you'll do it.

Minutes can be wasted just watching an ant crawl across the floor.


Finally knowing what love at first sight really is.
