Vertigo Days

Today has been one of those days that I describe as vertigo days. It may not technically be grammatically correct, but when I have days like this that's the word that comes to mind.

Vertigo days are not necessarily bad or even exhausting days. They just feel like backwards days, like everything is kind of confusing.

On my vertigo days not even the greatest Soap plot can pull me out of it. No matter how clean the house is or how caught up you are on laundry there's just something that feels off.

To help shake this feeling I usually go for a walk or sit on the porch for a bit. It's amazing how sunshine and fresh air can turn things right side up.

Today I suggested a quick trip to Dairy Queen. Delicious indeed and way more calories then necessary. And you know what part really sucks?

I still feel UpSiDe down.

I'm hoping that the delicious smelling pot roast and the marriage class tonight will help pull me out of this!

And if not there's always tomorrow!

  1. Hi, I am stopping over from SITS tonight. Your baby is SO beautiful! What a fun family! I hope the pot roast perked you right up! : ) Nice to meet you!

  2. Thanks! The pot roast turned out excellent so that did make things turn right side up, until the fight with the husband 10 minutes after leaving MARRIAGE CLASS!

Heading to bed soon and hoping it'll all be right in the AM!

    Thanks for stopping by

  3. Ugh I have days like that! I can't look at the picture it scares me! Never too late on SITS babe - I am even later! I sure hope tomorrow is better because if a little DQ can't cure you I am worried! Mmmmm a blizzard would be SO goof right now!

  4. I hate days like that... I also hate it when I wake up thinking it's Friday when it is only Thursday (or worse yet...Wednesday!).

Hope you come out of it soon!

  5. ~Hugs~ You're right! There's always tomorrow! I've been there...

Well, hope this brightens your day... I've given you a blog award. Please stop by and collect! Ciao!

  6. Uhg, this vertigo thing must be going around this week...I know exactly how you feel.

Hoping we both come out of it soon!
