The cake was the centerpiece! It was so delicious! As we speak I'm noshing on left overs. The only thing I regretted was having a party at 10:40 in the morning. It was a lovely sentiment when the idea hit me but when it was 8:30 and I was just climbing the mountain to get to my parents house I thought I should have made the party at 3 PM! I was so tired! Remember my post about going to bed at 8 PM Friday night? Please! I didn't even get home until 10!
It was a great party with tons of people and food. We served brunch and lunch. Which is a favorite of mine! Cupcakes, Cake, Balloons, loud noises, bright colors, and laughter.
We were a bit worried how Phoenix would act. He's not the worlds nicest baby. He has his moments, but sometimes he can be down right mean to other kids. He did have his moments at the party, but for the most part he did really great, considering his party started at his nap time.
Enjoy a few pictures from the party and head over to my Flickr album (link on left side) to see more!
The drum kit from Ab-ba and Anthony. This is a HIT. This kid is a musician for real
Baby Grand Piano from Daddy. Another hit!
Mommy's idea: Over 200 pictures strung through out the backyard
Serious sugar rush
Could only place the hat on his head for a photo op. He would NOT wear it!
He was so tired (party was right at nap time) he didn't want to feed himself, at first.
Another birthday gift, that doubled as a party entertainment. Ball Pit.
Mommy's gift bag idea. Tutuorial (LOL) in another post.
Phoenix's fantastic mini cake
"How wonderful life is, now that you're in the world!"
